ABOUT THE ARTIST
Biography
Born in Greece, Anastasia (or Natassa)
Saltabida lives and works in the Bay area. She has experimented with many
different media and styles, such as Asian brush painting, watercolors, acrylics
and oil. Since 2000, her mentor and teacher is
well-known artist Stephan Bauman.
With her paintings Anastasia tries to reflect not only what she sees but also what she feels. Her goal is to communicate to the viewer her love for flowers and nature. Her inspiration is coming from the great Californian landscapes or her beloved homeland, Greece.
Anastasia is a member of the Cupertino Art League and has received numerous awards in art exhibits.
Anastasia has degrees in mathematics and computer science and has been working for over 20 years in the areas of computer networks and other related technologies. In her latest series, "Modern Life", she is attempting to reflect her personal journey through technology and how technology is changing our lives!
